Week of Thanks 2019
Thanksgiving is less than a week away! Are you ready for it? Me either, don’t feel bad.
Something about this time of year naturally inspires me to practice mindful gratitude in my life. In years past, I’ve engaged in social media challenges like “November Gratitude Month” where I listed something I was thankful for each day on social media.
This year, I decided to do something a little simpler, but hopefully with much more intention.
Starting tomorrow, Sunday, and running through Saturday, I’ll be practicing the Week of Thanks.
Simply put, each day of this week I will go live on social media and talk about one general thing I’m intentionally expressing gratitude for the entire day.
Instead of the usual “think about something I appreciate, and then go on with the rest of my day and forget all about it” I’m going to stay intentional about reflecting on that blessing throughout the day.
I have a request for you: would you join me in this challenge? I believe this challenge will open up our eyes to just how much we’ve been blessed in our messy, crazy lives. There is so much we have to be thankful for that often goes unnoticed.
Let’s get intentional with our gratitude for 7 days and see how it transforms our lives.
