Why a Book on Breastfeeding?
I am continually heartbroken over the number of mothers I hear (and read about on Social Media) say they are giving up breastfeeding because they “don’t know what they’re doing and it’s just too hard”. Or new mommas who never give it a chance in the first place because they are overwhelmed by all there is to know about breastfeeding.
While I agree that breastfeeding has a steep, steep learning curve, it has personally been totally worth it for me and my family to breastfeed.
When I first decided to write this book, I had no idea that I would have a positive pregnancy test the very next month. I ended up writing the book I needed to read in order to successfully breastfeed my third child.
